Accomodation & Retreat
What is the accommodation like?
The accommodation is made up of a range of exotically decorated rooms. This eco-friendly villa is powered by solar panels and a wastewater management system to feed the gardens. None of the rooms are equipped with TV’s as we believe it is important to get away from TV whilst you are on the retreat, so you can experience a full mind and body detox.
Is there Wi-Fi available?
Yes, a code will be given to you on arrival.
What happens through the week?
During the week we have a great variety of activities from yoga, meditation, walks, informative health talks, two half-day excursions and a celebratory meal. There’s also plenty of time to relax.
Is there a spa at the Retreat or masseuse?
There is no spa at the villa, however there are therapists offering massage treatments for an additional fee. Details of the different types of massages with pricing will be available to book before the retreat or during the retreat.
If I can’t arrive on the first day can I still join the retreat?
Yes. However, your room will be booked for the full 5 days, so regardless of when you arrive you will still need to pay for the whole retreat.
When can I arrive?
You can arrive at the villa any time on the first day. The retreat will end on the final day at 12noon (12:00). But you are welcome to leave whenever it’s convenient on that day. If you wish to arrive the night before the retreat starts, you are welcome to do so for an additional 60 euros bed and breakfast rate.
Can children attend the retreat?
Our policy is that children aged 14 or over can attend the retreat, however it is fundamentally an ‘adult’ environment where people have come to relax and unwind, so it is important that anyone thinking about bringing their ‘child’ respects this. We cannot always guarantee to accept all requests and will assess per enquiry.

Fuerteventura Airport, also known as El Matorral Airport. It is situated in El Matorral site, 5 km southwest of the capital city Puerto del Rosario and is approximately 30mins to the retreat.

Miscellaneous
What do I need to pack?
Towels, bedding and beach towels are provided. Toiletries such as shower gel, shampoos are not so please bring your own. You will need sports clothes for yoga. Trainers are essential for walks and exercising. The mornings and evenings could be cooler, so please pack a jumper and also a lightweight waterproof. Please remember sunblock and sunglasses. It can be useful to have socks or slippers to wear inside the villa. The retreat is very simple, rustic, and casual, so no need to pack anything ‘smart’. However on the last night we do go for dinner so you may want to bring something a little less casual for that evening.
What is the weather like during the retreats?
For an up to date weather report, click here.
Can I book days to go sightseeing and shopping?
The retreat isn’t a bootcamp or ‘prison’, so if you do wish to use your free time to go to the town or for a walk or excursion that isn’t a problem. There are optional excursions of surfing or horse riding that can be arranged for a fee.
Are there any other ‘rules’ for the retreat?
There are very few rules and the retreat is a relaxed environment. However, all the meals provided at the villa are vegetarian and we are an alcohol-free establishment. If you wish to go out for another meal or drink alcohol you are welcome to, but we would prefer it if you do this off site away from the other guests. This is because the various guests might have reasons for being at the retreat which might mean they would prefer a vegetarian or alcohol-free environment so we want to be respectful of their wishes.
